Sometimes a work of satire is so profound, so incisive that the twisted society it came from can't even recognize it for a farce. Other times people are just really, really dumb. The latter was almost certainly the case this week when ClickHole—The Onion's BuzzFeed parody site—published "5 Tragedies Weirdly Predicted By Adam Sandler."

Yesterday, a woman's racist Facebook diatribe quickly spread through social media after Twitter users incorrectly identified her as the wife of Ferguson, Missouri police chief Thomas Jackson.

Like so many improperly-stored, bigoted fireworks, anti-Islamic outrage exploded this week on Twitter after troll news site National Report published an article claiming President Obama would spend the 4th of July meeting with Muslim leaders at a D.C-area mosque.

Last week, garbage "satire" site National Report published an article claiming August to be "International Muslim Awareness Month" by presidential proclamation. Of course, no such declaration exists and the story was easily debunked, but patriots from across the Islamophobosphere donned their tricorn hats to denounce Obama anyway, even after being told the report was false.
